Finally there is a true custom box for your 05-10 Dakota where someone thought about where to mount your amp too.  Most places just want to sell you a box and finding a place to put your amp is up to you (good luck with that).  But in this truck there is really no good place to mount an amp other than between the rear seats.  So with that in mind, we designed our box to allow you to mount your amp in the upper portion of it. That way both pieces of your equipment are stored neatly in one spot and it looks custom--not just an amp scewed on top of a box.  Not only that, but the assembly doubles as a nice armrest for any rear passengers.  The box itself fits snug between your rear seats with no modifications required and does not interfere with the front console from being flipped up.  To aid your installation, you will need to temporarily remove one of the rear seats in order to slide the box in.  This is done by easily removing two 10mm nuts on the back wall behind the access cover for each seat. 

The box in our example is carpeted and has a vinyl'd cover plate with a pre-cut design to match the amp being installed.  However, we would like for you to pick how you want your box finished out.  If you would rather trim out your own custom design, then we will send you a blank cover plate along with the finish materials of your choice.  That way, you can have your box exactly how you want it.  Simply make your selections in the menus.  The cover plate itself is held on by a few velcro strips.  That way it can be removed easily without tools.  We are confident that you will love our box installed in your truck.
