If you are looking for the ultimate custom sub box for your Mega Cab Dodge Ram pickup, you have found it. Our box is made to sit on the floor of the truck, not on top of the storage bin. Afterall if you have a box sitting on top of your bins, then they are rendered virtually useless anyhow. We can get a lot more box space with the bins removed and that's what big bass is all about. Simply remove three bolts and the entire bin yanks right out. Our box contours all the eneven spaces on the back wall for a nice custom look--not a squared off generic look like you will see at some other places. We also build the box deep enough to allow some decent size 12s to be used, while enabling the folding flaps to remain in the truck. Such a fine line there. If you want to run some deeper subs, we can mod the box for more depth and you can either unbolt and remove the flaps or simply trim them back a tad and leave them in. Another nice thing about this box is that the rear seats can recline ALL the way to the wall and not even touch the box. In fact, there is ample box to seat clearance so speakers hitting the folding flaps is not even an issue.
This box will absolutely pound in your mega cab truck. So if you are looking for a true custom box for your truck and not a pre-fabbed chinese piece of mass-produced garbage, then make your purchase today. And if you like the looks of our mega cab text, simply select that option before adding to cart.
Important: Please check the bump on the back wall of your cab. Most early Mega Cabs have a narrow bump and Later Mega Cabs have a wide bump. We are not exactly sure where the cutoff lies or why dodge went to the wider bump in later years. So Please check and order for your style carefully. If you are not sure what we mean by "bump", click on the More Images tab and Expand the pics and you will see exactly what we mean. Also please note that on the later trucks with the wide bump, the bump is so large that it affects the depth of the center speaker hole. Therefore if you have the wide bump, you will be limited to using Shallow Subs (at least in the center). Trucks with the narrow bump have no interference with any of the speaker holes and therefore can accommodate full depth subs in all three holes.
