With the praised success of our HD box, we started getting tons and tons of requests to do a box specifically for the non or light duty GM crew cabs. So we dug right in to create something incredible for the light duty as well. It wasn't easy, we admit. The space under this seat is even more restricted than in the HD trucks and that made our task more difficult. But we did it. We've designed a box that no one has done before. A box that can only be found here. Anything else is either a knock off or a copy of our box and will likely not fit nearly as good as ours.
This is a box that many said could not be done. Many of our customers are still reporting that all their "local" places say it's not possible. But it is, and that's a fact.
So if you have a Silverado, Sierra, or Denali 1500 light duty crew, then look no further, you've found what you have been looking for.
This is a two-chamber sealed box with .5 cu.ft. of air space per chamber. It is meant for two 8s or 10s only. There is no way to fit 12s in this box so please do not ask. Two 10s will pound quite nicely. If you're thinking about using 8" subs, the Kicker 8L7 solobarics hit incredibly hard in this box too.
Standard mounting depth for the box is 5-5/8" max. Magnet diameters must be less than 6" in order to fit this box. There is no other light duty crew cab box anywhere this deep specifically made fort this truck. This box is a must-have if you like your bass to hit hard and loud in your crew cab. This is one of the most sought after boxes for the 1500 crew cabs because of the overall bass output and sound quality. Get yours today, they are going fast!
