The amp shelf is approximately 18\"W x 13\"D. If you have a pair of 10s, but not a good spot to mount your amp, then this is the box for you.  This box is a hot commodity for these trucks.  In fact, it's our best selling chevy truck box period.  Not only does it look and fit great, but it adds a whole new dimension of functionality. It pounds incredibly hard and everybody loves it. The results were breath taking (literally), and when my rear view mirror fell off and some kids 3 blocks away showed up to see where the bass was coming from came over, well I was very impressed.
