Now you can install one 6x9 speaker in the rear of your car to give you not only the highs that you are missing, but also a lot more bass. Once you replace your stock amp using our Fark (item 5g-fark), you can bridge the rear channels of your new amp together to power the 6x9. The two useless 3.5" speakers behind you (the ones you don't really hear) become replaced by the center mounted 6x9 that is aimed directly toward the front between your seats. You WILL hear your tunes and the bass is much more dramatic than before. It really does sound like a sub installed without the need for an additional sub. This thing is amazing and once you try it, you'll agree. If you are planning one audio upgrade to your convertible, this should be on your list. An Amp swap and this plate with a 6x9 installed is going to make you quite pleased. Use it as a stand-alone solution or in conjuction with a sub our trunk-mounted stealth box.
