For 2010, Toyota decided to change the access cab rear seating a bit with the addition of a tiny armrest in the middle. Thanks to the help of Todd in CA, we are pleased to offer a new design that will fit perfectly and sound incredible. The sub box goes in-between the seats. The center armrest removes easily with a few bolts.

I just recently purchased this custom sub box for my 2011 Tacoma. I fits very nicely between the rear seats and it wasn't difficult to install (with good angles, the front consol did not have to be removed). My 10" Pioneer subwoofer went in easily after pre-drilling holes for the screws. There are only two negatives to this box that I have to mention. The first, the width of the box is slightly wider than I expected (although in order to fit a 10" sub it is necessary). The extra width results in lost range of motion of both the passenger and driver seats. The seats contact the box before going to their fully back position, and reclining is nearly impossible. I shift the box to toward the passenger side so that I could get full motion out of the driver's side. This brings me to the second negative aspect. The small legs on the box do not contact the floor. The box rests on a horizontal piece of wood (used to keep the sub off the floor) that lays across the center "hump" in the cab. This makes for only a single contact point and makes the box rather unstable until you put the rear seats down. All-in-all, I am pleased with the install, and the sound is incredible. The price can't be beat for a custom box. I would recommend this box for access cab Tacomas as long as you’re willing to live with the drawbacks...
