recommend picking up our Audiopipe Groundloop Isolator (NR16) in the related
products below to go along with your harness. Plug this device into the
harness and plug your rca cables into it. The NR16 will eliminate the dc
voltage in the line, which makes the signal much safer for all amps and
eliminates the turn off thump

Do you own a new
Camaro Convertible and are wanting to install an aftermarket sub and sub
amp? If you're answer is yes, then we have the perfect product for
you. We have developed an extremely useful plug and play
T-harness that will allow you to add RCA outputs to your factory Boston
Acoustics sound system. To install the device, you simply unhook the lower
connector on your factory amp (found in your trunk) and plug our special output
harness in-line. The harness is designed to give you RCA outputs and a
turn-on lead for sending signal and switched power to your aftermarket
amp. The simple plug and play feature eliminates the hassle and guesswork
of finding which wires to use for your signal and turn-on wires. No
more degrading your factory harness by splicing or soldering into it.
Don't waste hours trying to get signal to your amp. If you want to cut hours off your install time and make
things easier on yourself, pick one of these up today. Please note
that this harness provides signal and switched power only. We keep getting
the misconception that this will 'run your new amp'. It will not do so by
itself. You will still need to provide power and ground wires from your
batter to your amp.
What's new with Version
2.0
We have now standardized this harness into a 4 channel
harness. That way it can still be used as a simple subwoofer amp harness
like before. With both front and rear channels provided, you now
have the ability to choose which set of rca's to use for your sub amp.
Another use for this harness is to send all 4 channels to a multi-channel
amplifier. What this does is allow you to bypass your weak factory boston
amp and provide your speakers with better, cleaner power and gives you more
control of the crossover points. We are currently developing a plug
and play x2 harness that allows us to interface the speaker outputs from a
multi-channel aftermarket amplifier back into the vehicles wiring without
cutting or splicing anything or running new speaker wire. The last change
we made for v2.0 is the addition of identification labels to each set of RCA
jacks. This helps you quickly identify which channels are front, which
ones are rear, and which one in the pair is left or right. Again, we did
this in preparation for our x2 harness and to make our harness even more
user-friendly. Look for the x2 factory amy replacement harness early
2011.
