Please note that on most cars, right below where the stock amp mounts, the
factory seam filler sealant can sometimes be so excessive that it can interfere
with installing our mount. Therefore in these cases, the seam filler will
need to be trimmed away slightly with a razor to allow our amp mount to
install without interference.

your weak-powered, poor-sounding factory Boston Acoustic Amplifier for a better
one? If so, we have a very nice mount that will give you a nice flat
surface to screw your new amp into; without putting any holes in your car.
This mount is made to fasten to the car just like the factory amp does.
The tabs on one side slip ino the mounting straps and the slotted hole on the
other end goes over the stud. Simply slide the mount into place and
tighten down the nut. You can even mount your new amp to the mount first
and install the amp and mount as an assembly. What could be easier than
that? This unit is part of our "Replace the Boston Amp" kit, but can be
purchased separately here if desired. The mount comes covered in a
charcoal gray carpet that matches the rest of your factory trunkliner
carpet. Please note that this spot is quite small. The size of the
mounting area is listed above. We will not answer will my amp fit
questions. Please check the footprint of your intended amp to ensure it
will fit.
