Fits: 2016-2017 Camaro Coupe With BOSE Amplifier (Diagonal fins)
Provides 3-channel Stereo Output For Adding Additional Amplfiers ie a Subwoofer Amp.
Easy Plug and Play installation. Anyone can install this device and is done completely from the trunk in seconds
A very valuable tool if you intend to do any kind of wiring to the car's audio system. This will save you lots of time and hassle.
Note: New Camaros do Not provide 12v switched power in the trunk for switching on aftermarket amplifiers. Therefore no switched power is present on the harness. Also note that Bose systems have digital inputs from the radio to the amp, which cannot be interecepted for adding amplifiers. Therefore our harness borrows the signal 'after' the amp, which is a high power signal--hence no rca jacks.
Therefore, you will need to use an amp with signal sensing high level input capabilities OR a signal processor with signal sensing input to trigger on your amp. Also we have found that only the Front channels are strong enough to trigger on an amp.
Note: 2SS BOSE equipped stereos have ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) Which means there are microphones in the car that detect cabin noise and attempt to quiet that noise by playing opposite tones thru the car's speakers. From our tests, if the microphones are not defeated in some manor, they will pick up the bass tones from your newly installed subwoofer and your entire system will play at high erraneous levels (only with the car running). The ANC plug is the one on the amp closest to the rear of the car. We are developing a simple ANC microphone delete harness for this exact reason but will be some time until it is released. It is possible to pull the plug completely but there are still some important wires contained on that plug. From our tests, with the ANC plug unplugged we noticed a loss of the rear parking sensors. For now you can either find the mics and unhook them or clip pins 4 and 5. If you don't want to clip any wires, it is possible to take the connector apart and pull the mic wires out.
2LT BOSE equipped stereos incorporate and amplify exhaust tones into the cabin thru the speakers. Since our test car was not 2LT BOSE we are gathering more info on this topic.
3 channel blunt cut leads approximately 13" long
Can be extended by user as needed.
Why only 3 channel? Because the right rear speaker is on a different plug (thanks Bose Engineers).
But having the left rear as an output now will be important because this harness will also be utilized when we finish development of our bose 'fark' style harness.

Note: Please be sure your car has the BOSE Amp, which can be found under the spare tire cover in trunk. The BOSE Amp has Diagonal Fins. See Example Photo under the More Images Tab Above.
This Harness will NOT work on Non Bose Amps which have the Horizontal Fins (you need our 6G-NB-JBP)
If your car has No amp at all, then we have no harness for those non amp applications at present.
